Fascinating and disturbing
I thoroughly enjoyed this audio. Exceptionally well written if a tad long. I love Greg Olson books. The narrator was an absolute joy to listen to. This always makes the listen much easier regarding overall enjoyment. I had never heard of this horrid story or of Linda Hazzard before. She was delusional and totally in deniel in her unbearable cruelty and death by starvation to her patients. She should have been given a much longer prison sentence. I find it baffling and insane regarding her pardon years later. She was a cold and wicked person, not to mention stealing and forgery. It made me angry, although this happened a very long time ago. A terrifically well researched book by Mr Olson. I highly recommend it.

Great book
Such a fascinating story. Dreadful woman. I have listened to hundreds of true crime stories, and out of all the murderers I've heard about, I found her the most chilling. When a murder effectively takes months to accomplish, withf in the such horrifying cruelty and suffering, I can't imagine a worse crime. She was effectively running a death camp. Should have been locked up for life. Greg Olsen came up trumps with this book, and the narrator was excellent. Long but not repetitive. Lost myself in the world of the book.

Riveting
If I hadn't known this a true story I would have found it unbelievable. Fascinating as it was all based on facts as they occurred. Narration was excellent too.

On How a Bad Narrator Ruins a Book
The narrator totally ruined this book by botching not one, but two English accents. At times she sounds like Hugh Grant in "Mickey Blue Eyes".
