Thread snaps up hilarious and eye-opening account of life on a Northumberland Farm

Thread Publisher Claire Bord has acquired World English rights to farmer and author Sally Urwin’s hilarious, honest, and eye-opening account of life on a Northumberland farm from Mark Stanton at The North Literary Agency. Sally has already established a loyal following on Twitter as the PintSizedFarmer, sharing what it’s really like to live and work on a farm while raising a family at the same time. What the Flock! will be published in ebook, audio and paperback in July 2022.

Claire said:

‘I found myself howling with laughter and weeping in equal measure. From the joyous highs of living the rural life dream, to the crashing lows of dealing with poorly animals and the devastation of the foot and mouth outbreak, Sally brings us right into the heart of her Northumberland farm. Sally’s no holds barred account also shows how a combination of humour and resilience can overcome challenging times.’

Sally commented:

‘I am absolutely delighted to become a signed Thread author, and I can’t wait to share my story with readers about how I left the corporate world behind to become a farmer and the ups and downs of raising a family and making a living in the countryside.’

What the Flock! will be published in ebook, paperback and audio simultaneously.
